Mike has been a Director of Bellingham Wallace since 2013.
Mike has extensive advisory and governance experience across a wide variety of industries. He typically advises companies on restructuring, feasibility studies, strategic planning, governance, succession planning and sustainability reporting.
Mike is heavily involved in training clients on strategic and governance issues as well as understanding the drivers of profitability. He is a regularly author and speaker on advisory, governance and tax topics – including at the Icehouse – and helped develop and deliver training programs for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.
Prior to joining Bellingham Wallace, Mike spent four years with Hayes Knight and ten years with Gosling Chapman (now known as Crowe Horwath).
Mike has a Bachelor of Business Studies from Auckland University of Technology. He has been a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) since 2017 and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.
Mike represents Auckland on the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) Regional Council and is the facilitator for the CAANZ public practice workshops. In addition to all this Mike sits on several client advisory boards and is a Trustee of both the North Harbour Club and Pinehurst School.
